| This is quite easy to make. They can be made in all sizes, due to the size of the wooden stick. I enjoy having a whole bunch gathered in one place, for ex. on a shelf. They are also nice to use in decorations. What you need is wooden sticks - approx. as thick as your tumb, a sharp knife for carving wood, fine sandpaper, some thing carton, a pri of scissors, paper glue, a thin, black waterproof felt pen and a broad red one, a thin colour brush and a little bit of white watercolour paint.

Beware of the stick beeing quite
flat at one end (to make it stand firm).
It may be wise to use a little sandpaper, so the bottom is quite flat. The other end is cut as much slantingly as possible. Polish this end withsandpaper as well. Place the slanted end on a piece of thin carton and draw around ith a pencil. Add a smål cirkle at the top - (to be the tassel on the red cap. Cut and glue the carton on to the slanted end. Then colour the cap, draw beard and eyes, nose and mouth. When everything is quite dried you can outline the cap with a thin, black felt pen.
